Funny comedians Martin Davis, Kedibone Mulaudzi and Robby Collins will be on stage together at The Boardwalk, Vodacom Amphitheatre on the 26th of April 2013. Martin Davis, no stranger to The Boardwalk is back with his highly interactive style. Davis performs in the UK regularly and South Africa. Kedibone Mulaudzi is one of the countries rising stand-up comedy stars. He says he is “known for speaking his mind, and saying the things which come to his mind, things which most people are usually too afraid to say”. Robby Collins is described by some as having a “gawky giraffe frame”. He draws on real life experiences and relates to his audience with ease while keeping them on the edge of their seats. Kosie Weyers wins Engen Volkswagen Cup at Scribante

Engen Volkswagen Cup championship leader Kosie Weyers (5 – Engen Xtreme) is celebrating another double-victory after round three of the season racing at Aldo Scribante Raceway in Port Elizabeth this past weekend. Weyers produced an inch-perfect race performance to repeat his Killarney performance and take both top podium places on the day. It was Dewald Brummer (22 – UMP / Horne Hydraulics / MAD Racing) that led from the start of race one, with Weyers in hot pursuit. While Weyers was determined to take the lead, Brummer was not giving in without a fight and the two duelled throughout the race as they fought for the coveted leading position. Behind them, Mathew Hodges (12 – ITR Africa / 959 Panelbeaters) had to keep

Ironman 2013

Triathletes give it their all this weekend for Ironman 2013, the ultimate fitness test and one of the world’s toughest endurance races. A total of 226km completes the three disiplines of the race and gives the athlete title of Ironman or woman 2013. The first of three activities to complete Ironman is a 3.8km sea swim. Starting at Hobie Beach from 7am on Sunday the 14th of April 2013. There will be two loops of 1.9km’s around demarcated buoys in the bay, in water temperatures averaged to  be between 17°C and 24°C, the cut off time for the swim is 2hrs 20mins. The second leg of the race is a 180km cycle; from Hobie Beach on completion of the swim. Contestants will cycle along the coast for 3km’s towards the city

You choose your wheels (which can range from a Toyota Corolla to a classic Range Rover), name your team and make your way through the checkpoints, which include the Fish River Canyon, Victoria Falls, Etosha, Caprivi Strip, Kariba Dam and Vilankulos. Teams of The Put Foot Rally automatically support charities of their choice annual favorites are Project Rhino and the Bobs for Good Foundation Following the inaugural 2012 event, minor changes have been effected to make it that much more brilliant, as if it needed to be!

Skateboarding enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies are going to ripping up the tarmac with the second edition of the Donkin Downhill Dash this Easter weekend, the 30th and 31st March 2013. The downhill long board skating extreme event takes place down the historical Donkin Voting Queue Path in Port Elizabeth. The Aim of the game: To create awareness for non motorised transport in the inner city – and develop the sport in Nelson Mandela Bay. Contestants will compete against one another in a time trial event that will see skaters trying to better each other's time.
