Friday 27th June sees the launch of the 11 Days of AMAZ!NG that is the National Arts Festival. The sleepy, varsity town of Grahamstown comes to a screeching halt for a week and a half, when people flock from all over the globe to bathe in the luxury of the Arts. The annual Port Elizabeth Chilli Festival is heating up for it’s 10th taste explosion at the Morewag Primary School sports fields on the 23rd and 24th of March 2013. The festival is the place where lovers of a heated palate and chilli fundis meet in the windy city. The much anticipated Anibrand Fees is upon us igniting the Brandwag High School grounds from Thursday the 28th of February until Saturday the 2nd of March 2013. This year’s Anibrandfees in Uitenhage boasts a bigger and better festival programme, jam-packed with anything and everything Anibrand organisers could possibly offer. Festival highlights include the agricultural exhibition, the potjiekos competition, Anibrand Idols, the festival bar, the non perishable food project, a power lifting display and a teenage area with rock bands.
