One of the increasingly trending areas in Port Elizabeth central has to be Richmond Hill. A hub of fashion stores, decor boutiques, Advertising agencies and divine eateries. If you are reading this from Jozi, it is the equivalent vibe you would get from Parkhurst, or in Cape Town would be the similar experience you would get from wandering around De Waterkant Village.
Being an eclectic and forward thinking little area, creative individuals are forever re-inventing the wheel, enticing new visitors to the area. The like’s of shop owners from Camden, Melville and Moon, Retrovibe, Décor on Irvine, Valley Harvest, Silver Spoon and Ruwach and Plavka have put their noggins together and have dedicated a night shopping evening once a month where their doors stay open till 9pm (usually the 1st Wednesday of every month) A brill idea for folks that are office bound during the week and have shopping FOMO (fear of missing out).
If you are a shop-a-holic or just a browser, don’t sell yourself short – make your way to Richmond Hill tomorrow eve Wednesday the 4th July. Hey! Why not make an evening out of it; grab a coffee from one of the many devine deli’s or a bite to eat at any of the many delicious eateries.
For more info on night shopping contact Donne at Camden on 082 572 8472, Camden also have maps available for those that are geographically challenged.
