Life’s delicious – Take a big bite

We often hash tag our tweets with #ProudlyPE referring to how proud we are of our City and the folks that contribute to that status. This week we feature just one of those special Proudly PE peeps.

Cook Sister or Jeanne Horak-Druiff is a born and bred Port Elizabethan. Although she relocated to the UK 11 years ago she continues to visit and spread only good words about her beloved home town through her award winning foodie blog www.cooksister.com

Jeanne’s day job as an advocate has directed her to a knowledge management role within a law firm. After hours her passionate hobby for food leads her to expressing the deliciousness she experiences through reviewing hot spots and blogging about it – she does it so beautifully you wish you could tele-port yourself to that very place she speaks of, and devour the yumminess!

One of our favourites is a series of posts on her Blog called Sundays in South Africa and in particular her review of Cobblestone Bakery; ‘artisanal flatbread that was crusty on the outside, pillowy on the inside and truly delicious. Read consciously as your mouth waters…
