Is road tripping a thing of the past? Fast paced lifestyles and deadlines to meet it seems there is little time set aside for meandering through our wonderful country and soaking in all it has to offer… The travelingtribe thinks NOT! All convention is put aside for their passion of the open road and their family.
The Pienaar’s, Theunis, Zuko and their four children (the youngest only a couple of months) have taken on the challenge of being tourists in our country – whilst broadcasting their adventure to the world through media channels; Kingfisher Fm radio, YouTube, Social Media platforms and blogging all about it – all for the love and passion of sharing what our awesome country has on offer. The challenge? 30 weekends including two 10-day trips, 32 destinations, 80 nights, 110 days, within 10 months throughout the Eastern Cape!
“Every weekend we try to explore another destination in one of the seven districts of this magnificent little bit of world. Twice a year we will try to journey into the rest of Africa – hopefully inspiring you to design a journey of your own! St Augustine said: ‘The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.’
